How does graphite compare to black?
Graphite is a charcoal gray rather than a true black, which softens the depth without losing the grounding effect a dark neutral provides. Against soft coloring it tends to read gentler and less severe than black, and it pairs more easily with other grays, navy and brown tones that can clash against a flat black. On scuba fabric the depth also shows the drape of the wide leg more clearly than black does. Softer than black, and easier to place.
Which colorway is most versatile in this jogger range?
Graphite is the easiest to place. As a mid to dark neutral it works with almost every top in a typical wardrobe, from cream and white through to merlot, olive and navy. Merlot brings seasonal warmth and Cookie and Cream offers a print, both of which make more of a statement. Heather Espresso sits warmer in tone. If you want one pair to wear most often, graphite is the practical starting point. The others add color or pattern when wanted.

Love these pants, haven’t gotten to wear them much as it has been to hot. They are soft and comfortable, great colour. Will be ordering in another colour. I do wish that Charlie B would have shorter lengths 30 inseam always requires shortening.
